Sunrise Shore Marina, with its 70-plus sailboats and powerboats, is a boater's dream. Nestled along the protective shore of Barrachois Harbour, our marina is a safe haven for boaters, a convenient place to fuel or stock up, and a wonderful place to rest.
A family-owned marina, it's a great place to visit, where you'll find people who are friendly and warm, always willing to lend a helping hand. We've attracted people from near and far, who've come to appreciate this part of the world as much as we do.
At our facilities, there is ample berthing available, whether you're just passing through or would like to stay awhile in one of our brand new, full-equipped, two bedroom oceanfront cottages.
From the marina you can explore the pristine coastline of Tatamagouche Bay and the Northumberland Strait, with its coves, points and open bodies of water all around. Watch the fishing boats land their catch or catch your own glimpse of ocean mammals and seabirds.
Our waters are known to be the warmest north of the Carolinas, tempting enough for some boaters to moor or anchor and enjoy a swim. Later, you can relax under the shade of the outdoor clubhouse or enjoy a fine barbeque on the deck.
Although Hurricane Juan wreaked havoc upon many Nova Scotia harbours and marinas in 2003, this little harbour remained safe and secure.
Sunrise Shore Marina is located on the scenic Sunrise Trail, just off Highway 6, just a few minutes drive from Tatamagouche, where shopping, restaurants and other amenities are available.
We're also only a 90-minute drive, from major centres, north of Halifax and east of Moncton, New Brunswick, making us an ideally-situated vacation spot. So come visit us here at Sunrise Shore Marina. You'll be glad you did.
